1-Hour Cultural Weaving Experience and entry to Territory Wildlife Park.
A Cultural Learning Session with Garawa Aboriginal Designs
Step into a space of connection, storytelling, and cultural
learning through this guided Aboriginal weaving experience, led by proud
Woolwonga, Uwanwul woman Karina Jeffrey.
This 1-hour session offers participants a respectful
introduction to the art of weaving, focusing on the cultural significance,
process, and meaning behind the practice. Weaving is more than just
creating, it is a way of sharing knowledge, strengthening identity, and
connecting to generations of tradition.
Participants will be guided through the foundational weaving
technique and take part in creating a small item such as an armband or key
ring, as a way of experiencing the process firsthand.
